AdAdapted Announces Partnerships with Cooklist and Shopping List - Simple & Easy

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN: AdAdapted, a mobile advertising platform that specializes in add-to-list media for CPG, announced partnerships with Cooklist and Shopping List - Simple & Easy. Cooklist is available on both Android and iOS, while Shopping List - Simple & Easy is exclusively available on Android devices.

With the partnerships, AdAdapted continues to expand its network of top grocery list apps, which includes six of the top 10 highest rated list apps in the United States. Other partners include Out of Milk, Our Groceries, Buy Me A Pie!, and BigOven.

Everactive Adopts Movellus Sub-Microwatt Clocking Solution for its Batteryless IIoT System

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 06, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Movellus announced today that Everactive has adopted Movellus’ ultra-low power clocking solution for its batteryless Machine Health Monitoring (MHM) IoT product. Everactive’s core SoC is clocked by Movellus ultra low power PLL.

Everactive MHM’s core SoC is clocked by Movellus’ 700-nanowatt phase-locked loop (PLL) IP. Everactive is also using Movellus PLLs in multiple next generations of their SoCs.

“Movellus’ clocking solution had the smallest area for the frequency and process combination – no other vendor came close,” said Dr. Nathan Roberts, Vice President of Engineering at Everactive. “Their unique synthesizable technology enabled them to deliver a clocking solution that runs near threshold and eliminates the additional complexity for special power supplies that is typical for traditional analog approaches.”

Bloomscape is looking to take its special brand of grow-how from living room to patio, and is readying a collection of outdoor plants to introduce next spring.

The Detroit-based houseplant company just raised an additional $15 million in venture backing. And it also announced the acquisition of Vera, a plant-care app that provides content and troubleshooting.

Some DTC founders pick a sector just because they spy an opportunity. Bloomscape founder Justin Mast said did that too with his direct-to-consumer plant company, Bloomscape, that he founded in 2018. But he had a bit of a leg up, as he’s also a fifth-generation greenhouse grower. His parents met in a greenhouse, in fact.

If you thought to invest in more plants or started growing a small garden during 2020’s coronavirus lockdowns, you weren’t alone. According to Bloomscape, a company that ships live plants straight from greenhouses to customers’ homes, a number of people become interested in plants this year, increasing demand for its already growing service. Today, Bloomscape  announced it’s expanding its business with the addition of $15 million in Series B funding as well as the acquisition of plant care app Vera.

Ripple Science Releases New Features Supporting Virtual Trials and Remote Work

Tenzillo joined Invest Michigan in April 2016 as an associate and quickly made his mark completing 50 investments as well as taking an active role as the lead investment manager with 20 portfolio client companies.  Since initiating its investment fund in 2014, Invest Michigan has completed 114 investments in 52 companies.  Nearly one third of Invest Michigan’s client companies are women-led.
